LITTLE BUT EFFECTIVE LIFESTYLE CHANGES | SEPTEMBER 2020
How are we all doing? And how have we made it through 22 days of September already!?
We’re still in the swing of the “new season smell” and I have made some little but effect lifestyle adjustments that needed to happen; the changes relate to every part of my health: Physical, Social, Mental & Spiritual health. It was a sudden awakening that allowed me to dissect and recognise how interconnected these four aspects truly actually are; because the aim is to become a person with whole health.

BODY:
Choosing and adapting to good physical health should be your top priority, although normally taken for granted our body is formed exquisitely so it’s up to us to maintain it. I try to work out at least 20mins a day, 3 times a week just to keep my blood pumping with a combination of a healthy diet whilst adding it to my routine has helped with discipline in many areas of my life! What do you do to sweat?
SOCIAL:
The social you: Are you in good health, or suffer from moods, from time to time - do you lack self confidence? Making sure that the social you is in good health could be down to you realising that your life is supposed to be lived for a higher significance. If you answered yes to any of the questions; I think you have to assess the reasons why and discover the root of your feelings of inferiority. In the hectic, noisy pattern of life a daily quiet time can have a strong therapeutic value, for minds in turmoil, this daily practice of silence can bring peace. Self doubt is robing you of where you need to be and most times they are just feelings that are self inflicted and unasked for - so conquering these feelings will help you gain strength to navigate in social settings. I overcame anxiety by switching my thoughts whenever negative thoughts started to creep in on me. Always choose a postie outlook, you’ll enjoy the adventure of living. and In short this will contribute to 100% social health.
This life is for the living and I am not in my own way!
SPIRIT:
Faith - this can be acquired by communicating with the higher being and allow the communication back, for me this is God. The existence of the spiritual you harmonises all aspects of you living, so recognizing this existence shows the importance and significance of your life. I decided to talk to Him more and it also gave me insight that somebody is on my side, I would have a chance to offload problems onto a broader shoulder.. I would say more affirmations out loud, knowing that I am rooted in His goodness and I shall never lack or be lost.

Let’s make it a priority to take care of all aspects of our health, capture the dysfunction, and thrive to be whole.
