SPENDING SPRING INSIDE - QUARANTININ'

We’re having 27+ degrees here in London and It’s hot. It’s my favourite season and we’re spending it “inside”. I put inside into quotation marks because I feel that since Boris has eased the lockdown (somewhat) things are slowly getting back to normality.

Spending all of April and some of March inside during these times have conjured a mixture of emotions which one day I’ll be able to tell our kids how being in self-isolation really was. April is Springs's best month - rich full of blossoms, beautiful sunsets, and breathtaking blue skies. Observing this season through the windows of our homes has been a challenging one normally I’ll be making travel plans to visit somewhere new in May, or I’ll be able to work in different spaces or celebrate birthdays in a swanky new spot. But to see the cherry blossoms bloom without our human presence is food for thought…

The thought being we have to challenge ourselves first before we can bloom before we can be that light we want to see in this world or in our community. And the way I see it is that April’s showers brought a lot of May flowers - which could be anything that you’ve watered, germinated or planted. Let’s keep moving and heading forward to the new normal - And it’s up to you to make it into fruition.
